There are several styles of wooden loft ladders. You can purchase a fold up ladder, a stationary ladder or a sliding ladder. The benefits of choosing a wooden ladder over a metal ladder are not only the beauty of the wood but it tends to blend in better with existing wood work. A wooden fold out ladder is also quieter than a clunky metal ladder.

I really am astonished by how your house came up. Congrats.
I was wondering if there are some special laws or rules regarding mobile houses like yours. Can you take it everywhere you want on public roads?
Another thing I am curious about is the foam board insulation and spray foam you used in the foundation. These materials don`t seem to be found very often in foundations because they aren't the most trusted materials when walking on them. Did you experience problems like cracks or instability with the flooring of your house?

Thanks.

Tom, the house pictured in this entry is a design from Tumbleweed Tiny Homes. You can find information including dimensions on their website. Here is also a material list I put together awhile ago for building a tiny home like this one.

There are several other builders out there also building these homes, including Tortoise Shell, Lodge on Wheels, Tiny Texas House Company, and Little House on the Trailer.

Hope that helps get you started.

I am seeking more information about the construction, the design, and the cost for a fully built mobile small space such as the photos posted on this page.
Please provide demensions and the materials necesary to build a completed structure and other designs that may convince me into owning a small living space.
I personally would like to be the first person from Guam to own one.
I am currently a resident in Madison, Wisconsin and have lived on Guam for 32 years. I would like to bring this project into market perhaps in the state of Wisconsin.
